Training camp

Saturday 14 May, 2022

The transition from indoor to beach volleyball can be tricky and we are here to help you get better at beach. We are over the moon to announce that we will be running a 3 hour training session in May which will be open to men, women and juniors to help you get some practise before the beach season officially kicks in – Our first tournament is only the week after!

Our training camp is open to all passionate beach volleyball players at any level who are keen to learn and improve but experience playing either indoors or 2-a-side system is highly recommended.

Run by experienced beach volleyball players and coaches, the aim of the training camp is to cover all aspects of beach volleyball from attack to defence and anything in between. Groups in each category will be kept small – max of 8 players per court/coach to make sure you really get the best out of the day.

Location

Crosby beach has been a popular destination for beach volleyball players in the North West for quite some time and we have fallen in love with the wide, sandy and rather windy beach over the years. It is therefore no surprised we made our beloved beach our headquarter.

Crosby beach is part of the Merseyside coastline north of Liverpool in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton. The easiest way to find us is to follow directions to Crosby Leisure Centre (Mariners Rd, Crosby, L23 6SX). Right in front of the leisure centre there is an entrance to the beach and we set up our nets on the left-hand side. There is a free car park available at the leisure centre but has limited spaces. You can find more information on parking at Crosby here. Alternatively, you can find more useful information on how to get to Crosby by public transport or even on your bike, here.
