Welcome to Everton Volleyball’s first Grass Tournament! On this page you will find everything you need to know about the tournament, the location and how to get there to the competition format and the time you will need to roll out of the bed so you’re not late for registration in the morning.
Tournaments details
Spiker’s Turf is a 4-a-side mixed grass tournament ran over one day. This is a social tournament and open to all passionate volleyball players at any level. However we do recommend having some previous experience playing volleyball whether that’s an indoors or beach.

Times
All matches start at 9:30am. Teams are advised to arrive no later than 9am for registration. We aim to finish the tournaments by 6pm.
Tournament format & Rules
The format may be adapted depending on the number of teams in the tournament
- 4v4 mixed grass tournament
- Pool play followed by double-elimination knock-out system
- Teams must have a minimum of two women on court at any time. An exception could be made for juniors but this must be discussed and agreed with organisers before the tournament.
- A player can’t enter the tournament and play for more than one team
Registration for 2022
The registration fee is £32 per team. Entries based on first come first serve basis. Registrations close on Monday 6th June 22.
