Crosby Beach Junior Series

We’re excited to announce a new addition to the Crosby Beach Series for 2025 – our first junior competitions! It’s been a long time coming, and we’re thrilled to welcome junior athletes to compete on the sand.

The junior competition will kick off alongside the Crosby Beach Series tournament on Saturday, 21th June 2025. If demand is strong, we may add more events throughout the summer! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the next generation of beach volleyball players.

Who this competition is best suited for
The competition is for under-16 players:

• Players must be born on or after 1st September 2008
• Separate competitions will be held for boys’ and girls’ teams

This will be a 2-a-side beach volleyball competition. Participants should already have experience with competitive two-a-side play, whether on the beach or indoors.

While the focus is on under-16s, we encourage 17-year-olds with prior beach or indoor experience to register for the adult competition. If you’re unsure which category to enter, feel free to contact us at evertonvolleyballclub@gmail.com.

Registration Requirements
To enter, players must hold a UKBT membership. For U16 juniors, this is a one-off £5 payment that covers entry to all UKBT junior events in 2025.

The format may adjust depending on entries, but each team will play at least four matches. The competition will begin with pool play, followed by knockout rounds (e.g. gold/silver playoffs).

Crosby Entry Details

• Date: Saturday 21th June 2025
• Category: Under-16 Boys / Under-16 Girls
• Entry Fee: £20 per team
• UKBT Membership Required: Yes (£5 annual fee)

Provisional Schedule

• 08:30 – Player check-in opens
• 09:00 – Briefing and warm-up
• 09:30 – Matches begin
• 12:30 – Break
• 13:30 – Matches resume
• 16:30 – Finals
• 17:00 – Wrap-up and presentations

Note: This schedule is provisional and may change depending on entries.

Cancellation Policy
Our events will proceed in most weather conditions, so please be prepared! Withdrawal due to rain or cold is not an acceptable reason for a refund. However, if the event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.

If you can no longer attend, please inform us at least two weeks in advance for a full refund. After that, we cannot offer a refund.
